Compare the same product first

A product can have several different prices across European online stores. But the lowest number on a product page does not necessarily represent the best offer for your address. Search for the brand and exact model number, then check the generation, capacity, size and condition. A cheaper laptop with less memory or an older processor is a different purchase, even if its name looks almost identical.

Match the specification and destination

For electronics, manufacturer part numbers can help distinguish configurations. For clothing and footwear, match the style, colour and size. For appliances, check dimensions and the supplied accessories. Next, select your delivery country. Shipping availability and charges can change the order of the offers. A domestic seller may be cheaper after delivery, while an overseas retailer may still offer better value.

Separate known costs from missing information

Consider two illustrative offers: Store A charges €299 for the product and €25 for delivery, giving a known subtotal of €324. Store B charges €315 with free delivery, giving a subtotal of €315. Store B has the higher product price but the lower known subtotal. If taxes or other mandatory charges remain unconfirmed, neither subtotal should automatically be described as the final checkout price.

Confirm before ordering

Use BuyScout to compare available offers, then confirm the exact variant, destination and amount payable on the retailer’s website. BuyScout compares connected sources, not every European store. Coverage and freshness vary by merchant, and some outbound links are affiliate links.
